The United States District Court for the District of Alaska announced on Apr. 16 a request for quotations (RFQ) for the procurement of a Canon ImageRUNNER ADVANCE DX C5860iG or an equivalent multifunction copier device. The deadline for submitting quotes is Saturday, May 31, at 4:00 p.m. Alaska Standard Time.

This solicitation is part of the court’s ongoing efforts to maintain and upgrade its office technology to ensure efficient operations. The RFQ outlines specific requirements that must be met by potential vendors, including print speed, integration capabilities with Uniflow software, and security features such as PIV-I NFC reader access and secure printing options.

According to the announcement, “A fixed price award from this solicitation will be made based on the lowest price, technically acceptable offer.” Vendors are required to provide detailed pricing not only for the main device but also for additional options such as smart card readers, finishing units, fax expansion kits, surge protectors, toner supplies in multiple colors, installation services, and hands-on training.

All quotes must include an implementation schedule detailing key milestones like delivery date on-site, configuration steps, deployment process, and staff training sessions. Delivery is expected within 15 days after receipt of order at the James M. Fitzgerald Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse in Anchorage.

For technical questions regarding this procurement process or submission details—including faxed or hand-delivered quotes—vendors are directed to contact Christine Thibodeaux or Raven Maitland at their respective court email addresses provided in the RFQ documentation.
